From the moment I held my first camera, photography became my passion.

After completing a Degree in Civil Engineering, I practiced as an Engineer for many years. However, with support of family and friends I decided to turn to my true love of photography. I now have the privilege of working with that passion.

I have spent the last few years involved in sports photography as well as an event photographer overseas. Completing the Diploma of Applied Science in Photography allowed me to combine my creative instincts with the technical understanding brought from engineering. I became a member of the Accredited Professional Photographers Australia and was awarded the Western Australia Commercial Photographer of the Year for 2005/2006. This year I was awarded Western Australian Portriat Photographer of the Year for 2006/2007.

My favourite photographs involve using natural light and utilising clean lines to form strong images.

Although most of my work is digital, my film camera is never far away to capture a moment in either colour or black & white where the magic of photography still holds true. To this end I still enjoy using film and getting into the darkroom to develop black & white images.

This approach gives you the flexibility to create images that reflect the essence of the day.
